Toplam Kalite Yönetimi ve Bilgi Paylaşımı Davranışı İlişkisinde Etik İklim Tiplerinin Düzenleyici Rolü

Abstract

In data era, one of the most critical factor that distinguishes companies from each other and highlights
some companies from their competitors is how they use and evaluate knowledge and information. Providing organizational conditions that encourage knowledge sharing within the organization plays a key role in enabling companies to gain competitive advantage. In this context, from the perspective of social exchange theory and ethical climate theory, the aim of this study is to examine the factors affecting knowledge sharing behavior within the framework of TQM and ethical climate. In the field study, data obtained from 396 executives and white collar employees working in companies that have adopted TQM practices in Gebze, Samsun and Çerkezköy OIZs were analyzed by hierarchical regression model. According to the research findings, while there was a positive relationship between benevolent and principled ethical climates and KSB, it was observed that egoistic climate did not affect it. Similarly, in the relationship between TQM and KSB it has been determined that benevolent and principled ethical climates have moderating roles but egoistic ethical climate does not have such a role. The findings were discussed in the light of the literature and suggestions were made for future studies and managers.
